East Africa in Crisis:  An urgent message from Rich Stearns

This is a videotaped message from World Vision President Rich Stearns, who had just returned from a trip to northern Kenya, where families are on the brink of disaster.

Across East Africa, 25 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance due to a crisis on the scale of the 1984 Ethiopia famine. A series of poor rainfalls, civil conflict, and harvests destroyed by an invasion of army worms has left families without food and water and running low on hope.
