World Vision is on the ground now responding to the immediate needs of millions affected by the hunger crisis in South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Please support our efforts to provide help in this heart-breaking situation.

Across East Africa, 25 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance due to a crisis on the scale of the 1984 Ethiopia famine. A series of poor rainfalls, civil conflict, and harvests destroyed by an invasion of army worms has left families without food and water and running low on hope. World Vision is working to raise $110 million to serve 2.7 million people with emergency food, water, medical care, and livelihood assistance. Learn more about this situation.

Rich visited Turkana where he witnessed the human toll of the hunger crisis.
