Progress Report: Fiscal Year 2021
(October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021)
Kenya Big Dream has continued to emphasize increasing family incomes and raising awareness to protect vulnerable children in West Pokot and Baringo from female genital mutilation (FGM), child marriage, child labor, and other forms of maltreatment.
The project helped participants to learn alternative sources of income, such as poultry farming and beekeeping. Less financial pressure helps reduce the circumstances that lead to violence against children.
Your generous support of Kenya Big Dream is helping change attitudes, behaviors, and livelihoods to end FGM, child marriage.
Thank you for giving children and their families hope and dreams for a better future.
