Alisa Phillips
Senior Education Advisor

Alisa has worked in the field of education since 2001 with expertise in working with primary school teachers to improve their teaching practice and parent- teacher associations to support the learning environment for improved student outcomes.  Her background ranges from material development, training and facilitation to technical support for research, monitoring and evaluation.  She has also focused her career on improving education for girls who are often marginalized from quality educational opportunities.  Alisa represents World Vision International on the United Nations Girls’ Education (UNGEI) global advisory group to engage in collective advocacy to improve girls’ education and prevent School-related Gender-based Violence (SRGBV).
