When you become a member of the SWSW Council, you are joining a nationally based fellowship of women committed to learn, grow, and support each other on their journey of transformation.

The SWSW Council provides a supportive community for women in all stages of life and all levels of philanthropic experience.

Members are invited to participate in curated activities and events to further the discovery and development of their purpose, passions, and action for impact plan.

The SWSW Council empowers its members so that:

• Women understand their true worth in Christ (1 John 3:1)
• Women encourage one another forward (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
• Women stand alongside each other and the next generation (Proverbs 22:6)
• Women come together and stand with a unified purpose (Philippians 1:27)

The SWSW Council community is made up of post-college-age leaders who share the following values:

• We are educated and informed about the issues facing women and girls living in extreme poverty.
• We use our voice and influence to amplify the needs of those we serve.
• We approach our work with integrity, passion, and humility.
• We empower others to participate in the transformational work of coming alongside communities so they can lift themselves out of poverty.
• We use our time, talent, and resources to respond to the needs of people living in extreme poverty.

SWSW Council members gain:

• The opportunity to expand their networks through engaging with like-minded peers and the World Vision community of donors, staff, subject matter experts, and partners
• Access to special workshops and events to deepen their understanding of issues related to global poverty and World Vision's work
• Connection to fundraising and advocacy resources, training, and opportunities
• A platform to encourage, inspire, and inform as a World Vision ambassador
