Olivia and Terry Bloom have been involved with World Vision for three years and attended their first World Vision conference in 2025. They are specifically interested in the THRIVE program but have been so encouraged by all the great work World Vision is doing. The couple has not experienced their first Vision trip yet.
Olivia worked as a CFO at a biotech company prior to her retirement in 2023. Terry worked as a program manager for a semiconductor equipment manufacturer prior to his retirement in 2024. Olivia is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and is currently a mentor for business school students. Terry is a graduate of the University of Texas (UT) at Austin and an avid fan of UT sports. Terry graduated from Santa Clara Law School in 2005.
Olivia's father and sister live nearby in San Diego, CA. Terry's parents, brother (and his family), and sister (and her family) live in Dallas, TX. Both Olivia and Terry were blessed to be raised in Christian households. The couple does not have any children.
Both Olivia and Terry enjoy travel, hiking, and movies. They are involved with Amplified Impact Partners, a San Diego-based nonprofit that provides pro bono consulting to other nonprofits to help them increase organizational strength and community impact. They recently became members of Trinity Presbyterian Church (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) and are also involved with International Justice Mission.
Fun facts for the couple: Olivia was a radio deejay in high school, and Terry can still recite his kindergarten roll call!
