Bio/Story
Greg has been involved with World Vision for the past 15+ years. He currently sponsors three children in Guatemala, Kenya, and Tanzania. He supports clean water projects in Tanzania and Honduras, along with child protection, emergency response, and Christian discipleship. In 2024 he went on a Vision Trip to Tanzania, which further developed his passion for World’s Vision’s clean water programs across the communities in which it serves.
Greg grew up in Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Accountancy. After college, he joined Chevron Corporation and has worked there for the past 19 years in a variety of Finance roles. For the past 3 ½ years, he has held the position of Finance Director for Chevron’s operations in Bangladesh, based in Dhaka.
His family resides in Oregon and has deep roots in education. Both of his parents are retired school teachers, and his sister currently serves as an elementary school teacher.
Prior to moving to Bangladesh, Greg was actively involved with his church in Pleasanton, California. He previously served as a Deacon at the church and was Chair of the Missions Committee. While in Bangladesh, he has been an online member of Church of the King, which is based in Mandeville, Louisiana, where he attended during the time he lived there (2019-2021). Outside of work and church, he enjoys travelling, sports, reading, and music.
A fun fact for Greg - he plays the trumpet!
