Bio/Story
The Buser's journey with World Vision began in October 2006, when their pastor, Keith Stewart, took a Vision Trip to Katito, Kenya — an experience that profoundly changed all of them. In the years that followed, Springcreek Church sponsored more than 750 children and helped raise critical funding for clean water, walking alongside the community for many years. Today, they celebrate that Katito is thriving and the area program has successfully closed.
Since 2006, the Busers have consistently sponsored children through World Vision, many of whom have now aged out of the program. Between the two of them, they have been honored to witness World Vision’s transformative work firsthand in Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Honduras. Gina currently serves as a Volunteer Advocate and on the Strong Women Strong World Advisory Council. They are deeply passionate about economic empowerment and empowering women and girls to live life to the fullest, knowing that when women and girls are empowered, families and entire communities flourish.
Gina is the CEO and founder of Traveling Coaches and Alterity Solutions, sister companies dedicated to educating and empowering employees to thrive in the legal, corporate, and healthcare industries. With decades of leadership and coaching experience, she is passionate about developing people, strengthening organizations, and creating lasting impact. Joe is a graduate of Texas A&M University and has served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Traveling Coaches since 2001. Together, Gina and Joe bring a deep commitment to leadership, service, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
The couple has three grown children and one granddaughter: daughter, Hailie (Plano); twin boys, Jackson (Dallas) and Andrew (Atlanta); and granddaughter, Lily (Plano).
They love to travel, watch college football, spend time with friends, and garden. Joe also enjoys live music and movies.
