Bio/Story

Adele and Kevin have been married for more than 25 years and have three children: Cameron, Madeleine, and Isaiah.  Their relationship with World Vision started with their children selecting birthday presents from the Gift Catalog. Over time, their exposure to World Vision has grown, as well as their relationship with the organization.  

Adele works for Debbie Macomber Inc. as chief executive officer. Debbie Macomber, who is also her mother, is a #1 New York Times best-selling author with over 200 million books in print, and has created an organization whose mission is to be a blessing. Adele oversees the vision of the business and also works on behalf of her family to represent their philanthropic goals.

Kevin works as a nuclear engineer at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He leads a weekly men’s Bible study and takes an interest in classic cars.

Kevin and Adele enjoy being part of their local church, Harbor Christian Center, where Adele serves on the council. She is also an officer of the Youth For Christ Foundation board and the Kitsap Regional Library. The couple are part of  the Search and Rescue teams with Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, and she runs with their Team Mission group.

Even though still in his teens, Isaiah is a spokesperson and speaker for World Vision’s work and is passionate about making a difference in his lifetime for children around the world. He began fundraising for clean water in 2019. That same year he was part of a multi-generational Vision Trip to Rwanda where he saw the families and projects that he cares so deeply about. He also travels to local civic groups, meetings and has even appeared on National TV to talk about the importance of clean drinking water. As a family they enjoy biking, kayaking, and traveling.

A fun fact about the LaCombes: they are crazy about the Seattle Seahawks!
