Rwanda: Where hope wins

World Vision’s work in Rwanda was highlighted in a recent Christianity Today article, covering our 30-year partnership with the local government, plus the impact clean water and sanitation efforts are having on families across the country. “As we do this work together in Jesus’ name, we demonstrate the truest meaning of victory,” says World Vision President and CEO Edgar Sandoval Sr., “… that Christ came to usher in a new kingdom where hope wins.” It’s through the grace of God — and the generosity of donor partners like you — that hope is returning to the people of Rwanda.

Reaching vulnerable Sudanese families

April 2023 marked a rise in conflict and violence in Sudan. Now, more than 12 million people are displaced. Of those, 2 million have fled to neighboring countries for safety. Edgar recently visited a feeding center on the Sudan/Chad border and shares a glimpse of the hope donors and partners like you are helping to provide for vulnerable children and families caught in the crisis.
