Just as God raised up Esther to a place of great influence so she could be an advocate for His people, we have watched in amazement as God has raised up a core group of passionate and influential World Vision supporters, known as the National Leadership Council.

The National Leadership Council exists as a community of like-minded Christians of means, who motivated by Christ, can do more together than alone. The council family begins in prayer, invites others to the table, and warms the hearth — all so families in poverty and plenty can experience God’s fullness of life. It is their desire to help eradicate extreme poverty.

National Leadership Council Members:

• Make a significant, leading financial commitment, signaling a decision to make World Vision’s work one of their highest giving priorities
  
  
• Have a vested passion in the work done in one or more critical sectors of need
  
  
• Assist in expanding World Vision’s reach by helping to contact and cultivate prospective significant donors and influence donation decisions
  
  
• Agree to share responsibility for a fundraising goal with regard to our work in a particular area of need
  
  
• Serve as an ambassador through speaking engagements and the use of their name in World Vision publications and presentations
  
  
• Attend strategic meetings, including the annual National Leadership Council gathering
  
  
• Assist in identifying and recruiting additional leaders as potential Council members
