Thank you for joining Strong Women Strong World in changing the world for women and girls!

On December 6th, 2019 leaders in business, philanthropy, development, and government from around the world gathered in New York City for the 15th annual Strong Women Strong World Luncheon.

The inspiring day was a celebration of the progress that has been made over the past 15 years, as well as a powerful reminder of the work that is still to be done to provide women, girls, boys and men the opportunity to reach their full potential.

International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation

Join with the international community on February 6th, to raise awareness and mobilize support to eliminate the harmful practice of female genital mutilation - a key target of Sustainable Development Goal #5

Here are 3 ways to take action:

4 girls1. Share Their Story In this powerful video, four brave girls tell their stories of child marriage—in hopes of helping other young girls escape the same fate.

2. Give Resources. World Vision's sustainable community development approach is shifting attitudes and actions to better protect children. Cultural values around marriage, education, finances, and family are being transformed with everyone contributing to the effort.  Contact Kerry Bendt for more information about how to support this work financially.

3. Use Your Voice. Tell your representatives in congress to condemn violence against children and youth and encourage the development of a strategy for preventing, addressing, and ending it globally.
