Venezuela is in a desperate crisis.

Over 4 million Venezuelans have fled the country due to political unrest, food shortages, and a collapsing healthcare system and medicine shortages.

Inside Venezuela and in surrounding countries, children are particularly at risk for hunger, illness, and other vulnerabilities. As children and their families flee Venezuela, humanitarian organizations like World Vision are prepared to respond.

World Vision has already reached more than 125,000 people in need in Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru addressing the needs of the Venezuelan refugees and migrants by:

  • Helping thousands of people with access to food and water, health services, hygiene and child protection.
  • Setting up child-friendly spaces providing kids a place to play, learn and receive psychosocial care.
  • Providing shelter assistance programs.

Through the Venezuela Relief Fund, World Vision aims to scale up and expand our reach across the region to serve more than 300,000 vulnerable people affected by the crisis including at least 130,000 children in Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and directly in Venezuela. And thanks to public grants, your gifts will multiply 7 times in impact!

When a crisis strikes, World Vision is there. We respond immediately with life-saving help and supplies to support families as they recover and rebuild. World Vision is a leader in emergency relief, with decades of experience and an established network of staff ready to respond to any type of crisis, anywhere in the world.

Our Commitment

At World Vision, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, World Vision will redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.

The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.
